How has your year been going? I hope it’s been happy and filled with anticipation for what comes next. Even if you’re scared, even if you’re worried about what tomorrow brings, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it isn’t a good year.
I have a feeling that this is going to be a good year. One that washes out the old and brings in the new. Of course that is just scary as heck. I’ll tell you something that I’m not supposed to tell you, and so is inherently true. Photography is the one thing I do well. Weddings are the one thing I do great. I used to wake up every morning thinking, ‘When will it be summer break, when will I not have to go back to work’, and every year I hoped that feeling would end, but it never did. Now I wake up every morning and worry that if I don’t live up to my potential I will not get to keep this job.
I love my job.
And so, I love days like this. Today I’ve had the best engagement session. Today I encountered fabulous lighting, a super awesome relaxed couple, and beautiful nature. These images are downloading super slow, but I just couldn’t help but share before I head on over to email.
