Cayce + Jonathan = Engaged!

Cayce and Jonathan met while living in DC. She says her knowledge of soccer caught his attention, but aha!, she is actually a much more avid fan of football than she is of soccer. I’ve always thought a little bit of knowledge can carry us a long way. In either case, they followed up their initial meeting with a date the very next day, and now here they are, engaged. Cute huh?

Just in case you’re wondering, do you ever hear a common thread in stories of how couples met? Yes. I do. First of all that myth that you never meet your future husband in a bar are completely untrue. LOTS of people meet in bars! Sure, not all of them fall in love, but that doesn’t mean that lots of them don’t. I would say I hear that less than this though, ‘our date turned into 8 hours. After that we were inseparable’. I hear that from so many of my couples, and it makes me smile every time.

I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Cayce and Jonathan are so photogenic, I can’t wait for their wedding. For more of their fab images, click on the awesome slideshow.

PS

Who doesn’t love horses?? This particular horse was cracking us up, he was following us trying to get a nip, but we backed up as soon as we figured out his nefarious plans. Thwarted he walked over to his water bucket, stepped into it, and stomped as hard as he could trying to splash us. Evil horsey!

We think the photos are great – and don’t they look gorgeous? But Mum and Dad would say that wouldn’t they :) ?

[...] of you may remember these two from their fab engagement session. Well, their wedding photos are looking just as [...]

Connie + Will = Engaged!

I have this fascination with people that I just can’t deny, and I, like a million other women, am keenly apt to notice every detail about another woman as she passes.

I think this has less to do with the photographer part of my brain as it does with the fact that I am inherently female.

In any case, I think Connie has the sweetest cutest face ever. And oh my, the BEST skin! She has the kind of skin that reflects light and just glows in a photograph. While taking their photographs I kept thinking, YAY, so looking forward to their wedding.

Now, let me move on to Will, at the very beginning of their session I asked Connie if she remembered that pose from dirty dancing with Patrick Swayze. Immediately she knew what I was talking about, poor Will looked lost though! After that I couldn’t stop thinking that Will kind of looks like a hispanic version of Patrick Swayze. Is it just me??

Either way, they are one hot couple, and really super sweet. I learned that Connie’s wedding dress is being made by her mother. I can’t wait to see it. In the meantime please enjoy their pictures, and of course, scroll all the way down for their awesome slideshow.
