You may remember Adi and Neto from their awesome engagement session. Both Adi and Neto proved to be just as relaxed and laid back on the day of their wedding as they were on their engagement session and very first meeting with me. I feel truly blessed to have the job I do, how else would I meet such awesome people? Recently I googled myself (I know, it sounds funny huh??) and found that Adrienne had a blog. Right before the wedding she wrote about all of the reasons she loves Ernesto. I’m not great at details, but I do remember that she said he’s her best friend, always listens to her, gives her advice, puts up with things she does that she knows he doesn’t like, and is the first person she turns to. What I thought about when I read that was how she told me thier first apartment together was a one bedroom. Ernesto slept on the couch and gave Adi and her son the bedroom.
I’m not sure that love can’t be simplified much easier or less obvious. I’m one of those weird people that doesn’t believe love, real love, is flowers or hearts or candy or even remembering important dates. Mostly it’s about dealing with the real things day to day. Going to the grocery store together, getting a long distance plan when one of you is traveling, not complaining about your significant other’s traits.
Ha. Or complaining about them but dropping it after the laughter is over.
Adi’s entry about Ernesto made me tear up it was that beautiful. I hope their photos live up to their real life love and reflect just how simple and true it is.
