Jenny + Jason = Married!!

You may remember these two from their engagement session. No worries. Cuteness still abounds.

Jenny and Jason held their big hurrah at the Forrest Hill Lodge, which is located (surprise!) in Forest Hill, about 40 minutes past Auburn. Thus the mystery of where I spent my Labor Day weekend comes to an end ;p.

It’s funny, I’m trying to write about this wedding and I just keep thinking you had to be there! These two are so fun, laid back and easy going. Unique, quirky, smiley, fantastic. I loved the speeches given by Jenny’s sister and one of Jason’s friends from grade school. They were filled with so much love and such entertaining stories that it makes me think about the relationships we hold the longest and the treasures they hold.

I hope we all have such fun stories, good friends, momentous days. On to the pictures, with more descriptions, and then of course the slideshow. Hope you had an awesome holiday weekend as well!

Working on her vows with her sister! Too cute.

Her dress was so unique, and that just fits her I think.

Reception dress.

Right before the ceremony Jenny waited in this white tent, and I just think this image of her directing her Bridesmaids in their lineup is delicious. Gotta love a white background!!

The panda Jason proposed with makes its way down the aisle!

The couple had placed bells at the seats for guests to ring out during a certain part of the ceremony, beautiful touch.

Love the look Jason gives her here!

He’s reading his own vows off of his iPhone, heehee

I just had to had to had to capture and post this image. As they kissed Jason lifted her up off the ground.

They were so anxious to join their party, but indulged me for a bit with these photos.

I leave you with their cake, for, oh, about a million reasons. You see, it has feathers, just like Jenny wore! And the bridal party? When they made their entrance all wore different crazy hats. And last? A hat is sort of how I met this couple. You see, the first time I spotted them they were acting crazy in love at a wedding I was covering, and throughout the night I noticed them switching a hat back and forth between them. They ended up purchasing that photo, hiring me, and ta-da. Thus the cake image has been chosen to end this post. Wait! Of course besides the slideshow….

Y Gets Her Boudoir On!

Boudoir sessions are intimate, fun, sexy, and can be as daring as you want. Sound intimidating? Well they are and they aren’t. I say they aren’t because when you opt to have your hair and your makeup done it begins to feel like an all out girl day of pampering. We chat, we snack, we drink champagne, and at the end of it you not only feel like a million bucks you look bloody fantastic. Before you know it you may find yourself feeling bolder, more daring, and more at home with me then you ever thought possible.

Y was so great, and as much fun as I had with her I’m sure she had just as much fun with me, hey I got a hug at then end of the session!

As usual Marina and Tracy Shelor provided both the fabulous hair and makeup. Aren’t they awesome? Not only are they awesome they have two packages. One where they show up and do one look, and another where they stay and help out your entire session. I think this is one of those things that helps make it feel like an all out girl gab session.

Thank you to Y so kindly for saying I could post whatever I wanted, she was so proud of her images. And I have to say, she is H-O-T H-O-T HAWT.

Family Sessions can be fun!

I’m never really sure what to tag family session since often I have cousins, siblings, etc. who are sure to have many different last names amongst them. Here’s one of the latest family sessions I completed, this is their gift to their grandparents for their anniversary, cute huh? Since it was a gift they decided to wear their favorite color, blue. After we were done I suggested letting the kids run around the field so we could get some great candids.

Hope you enjoy!

Natalie + Milton = Married!

When I initially met Natalie and Milton they mentioned right away that they would be getting married at their church in Foster City with a reception to follow at the Crowne Plaza. Again in Foster City. They were a bit worried about me knowing the area but I just started to laugh, I live in Foster City, it’s quite small, and I had long ago picked out a garage that I wanted to take pictures in front of.

Natalie and Milton, what you don’t know is that when I drove around looking for other locations I found this old abandoned parking lot completely run over by weeds, an abandoned bus stop bench station in the middle of it, with the water plant blowing flames behind it. I was so in love. Really and truly in love. In the end I decided to spare you my madness and instead drug you in front of a simple white building. If the above paragraph scares you a bit, well it scared everyone else I talked to about it as well. You have them to thank! Ha.

Seriously though, your wedding was so much fun. From the shoe game, to the kissing game, and wonderful toasts, it was filled with so much laughter and love that I know you two are truly truly blessed. Enjoy your life together and all that it brings. I hope to help you document your growing family one day.

Best,

T
