You may remember this awesome couple from their equally awesome engagement session. Sergio was the first future groom to completely and totally amaze me with his jumping skills. Since then others have risen to the challenge and I think it’s all due to him utterly raising the bar.
This is one of those weddings where I’m going to end up going on and on, so be forewarned!
The first time I saw Andrea she was helping out with makeup and hair for a magazine spread I was shooting and I thought, “Who’s that cute girl?? She has awesome hair!!”. That may sound dorky, but it’s also true. I tend to notice everything. Hair, makeup, clothes, jewelry, everything. I don’t think I’d say I’m a slave to fashion so much as I am an ardent admirer of all things beautiful no matter where they may be found. And women? Well, naturally being women, tend to be the most abundant pretty things on the planet. If you have any questions regarding that please refer to my closet stuffed to the brim with a million of my own whimsies.
The second time I met Andrea she was with Sergio interviewing me as their potential photographer. They had both just come from work and were so completely laid back. Andrea was in scrubs and I thought, oh please please pick me.
I’m glad they did. From the amazing centerpieces, to Sergio’s infectious smile the day of his wedding, and Andrea’s utterly precious nerves as she prepared, it was a beautiful day.
Right before she got dressed Sergio gave her a gift bag filled with three things. One, twix, because that’s her absolute fave. The second, a pair of warm socks in case her feet got even the teeniest chilly. The last? A note that said simply, ‘I miss you’.
Cute right? I have the best job ever. Thank you to Sergio and Andrea for allowing me to be their on one of the biggest days in your life together.
