Just in case you're wondering, who is Terra? What makes her tick? Okay, you're probably not wondering all that, but still I'd like to let you know that for me photography has led me to the best career ever. I feel so blessed to have been let into such intimate moments of peoples lives, to have the power to cause them to shed tears of joy, to have been hugged by so very many of them, it's beyond words. So although (of course) I love photography, what really drives me are the moments the camera records, and the drive to catch more than an image, but the texture of your skin, the way even the air felt that day. I hope, in the end, my images live up the reality. Please enjoy.

Amy + Bret = Engaged!

Amy wanted something special for her and Bret’s engagement session. Or should I say, a carrot and a stick? Hence… (drumroll please!) BASEBALL! I myself have been known to bride future grooms with promises of ice cream or beer, whichever they’re more fond of. However I have to say, Amy’s idea pretty much kicks my ideas butt. Afterward we headed over to the Sunset side of town. Otherwise know as, um, the Sunset? If you’re not familiar with the city, then I have to tell you, it’s where most of the families live.

I heart San Francisco.

I heart Amy and Bret. Can’t wait for their fantastic wedding in October! See you soon guys!
