Moira + Sean = Engaged!

I laughed so much editing this engagement session. When planning the locations we, naturally, discussed props. When I mention props I always suggest that they be central to who you are, as a couple. When they arrived I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, although from speaking to Moira I knew that Sean has a few loves of his own (cough*robots*cough). What she didn’t mention was her love of soccer. Oh my, when Sean pulled out the soccer ball it was as if a silent bell had gone off and Moira was off in an instant! It cracked me up then. It cracks me up now. Please enjoy.

Very nice. In fact, the photos and the video are beautiful. And too see Sean doing the transformer tango, made my robotic day. I am so glad that I get to be apart of all this. Thank you all so much.

Natasha + Ray = Married with Slideshow!!

Natasha put so much thought into her and Ray’s wedding. She designed their light signature, invitations, signs, menus, etc. When they first met with me they explained how long they had searched for the perfect venue, before settling on The Palm Event Center. They fell in love with the Barrel Room, the reception room, and the ambiance of it all. They imagined a candle lit ceremony, an intimate fun reception, and beautiful images to remember it with. She had a vision of what their day would be like, and I think she did a fabulous job making that dream become a reality.

Although I’ve posted small teasers of this wedding before, please enjoy complete with slideshow!

Kim + Anthony = Married!!

I like these two, partly because they allowed me to drag them out to a marsh for their engagement session while barely blinking an eye, but mostly because of how super cool they are. Listening to the toasts their bridal party gave them at the wedding only confirmed for me how special these two were, and how lucky I was to be a small part of their special day. I’m going to dive right into the photos, along with narration, so bear with me cuz’ folks? This is a long one!

Location: San Mateo Marriott

I’ve never ever been to a honeymoon suite as cool as this one! The bedroom was on the second floor loft!

I think reveals are some of my very favorite pics, or else why do I always include them on the blog?

Remember when I said I dragged them to a marsh? Well, the day of their wedding was so incredibly hot, and we were circling and circling the block looking for a parking spot when I spotted this building and wanted to jump through my window and pose everyone like barbies. Luckily I started off with, “It’s in the shade!”. Also Kim and Anthony are such great sports, I hope they love the outcome!

I also… maybe… asked them to pretend float. They did a kick butt job!

Kevin took these two pics from the side, and I love his better than mine. They seem so much more candid!

We picked this church for it’s shade, but then found out that it had a spot that looked like a tropical paradise! I have to say that there is something timeless and so elegant about these formals.

Kevin took this image, and although normally I don’t include seconds photos on the blog I had to because I love the movement in the image.

HUNGRY! :p

I love this picture something fierce. The expression on Anthony and the guests taking pictures just keeps catching my eye.

When bouquet tosses go to the extreme! So funny!

Lili + Manuel = Engaged!

These two were so great on their engagement session! We had decided to shoot in Niles Canyon, taking advantage of the quaint downtown, cute little suburbs, and the beautiful scenery. Well, to add to that Lili picked out some really beautiful props to bring along, did an amazing job on their wardrobe, and even had her trial hair and makeup, with the fabulous Nina Barbosa, on the same day.

What do all these, thrown into the same pot make for? Gorgeous pictures!! I can’t wait for their wedding!
